Installing on Wordpress
To embed custom scripts like Distance Live Chat, you'll need to be on the Business Plan (or higher) for this platform. Free and lower-tier plans do not support custom code injections or plugins.
Go to Your WordPress Dashboard. Hover over your site title in the top-left corner and click "Plugins" from the dropdown.
You’ll be redirected to the plugins page. Use the search bar to look for “Insert Headers and Footers” by WPBrigade.
Install and activate "Insert Headers and Footers" plugin.
After installing, on the left-hand menu, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
Scroll down to find WP Headers and Footers (it’s usually near the bottom). Click Settings.
In the settings page, locate the box labeled "Scripts in Body." Paste the Distance Live Chat embed code into this box.
Click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
Preview Your Website. Visit your site to confirm the chatbox appears in the corner. You’re good to go!
