Why connect email?

Track all customer emails in Distance, simplifying communication workflows. Track all customer emails in Distance. Streamline your communication workflow by managing follow-ups, sharing updates, and occasionally sending special offers or announcements. Email remains an essential tool for nurturing and maintaining strong customer relationships beyond the initial interaction.

Steps to connect Gmail:

  1. Navigate to Connect channels.

  2. Select Connect Gmail account.

Limitations:

  • Inbox and sent only: Distance syncs emails from your Inbox and Sent folders -- other folders won’t sync.

  • No two-way sync: Actions in Distance (like archiving) won’t reflect back in Gmail.

  • Filtered emails: Emails from major domains (like facebook.com or google.com) won’t appear in Distance to keep your inbox clean.
