How to complete the business verification

The verification process consists of five steps. All information must match your official business records.

Add your company details

Provide the following:

• Legal company name

• Business type

• Business industry

• Business registration type

• Business registration number

Only legally registered businesses are eligible for SMS setup.

Add company address

Enter your business’s physical address. This should reflect your registered business location.

Add business representative

Provide details for an authorized individual associated with the business:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Business title

Add your business website

Enter your official business website. This is required for verification purposes.

Verify your information

Review all submitted details carefully. You can edit any section before submitting.

• Confirm the checkbox stating that the information is accurate

• Click Submit to send your application for verification

After submitting, go to Connect your telephony under Channels. You will see an “Awaiting verification” message with your number in Pending status.

“Your number was submitted to mobile carriers. It typically takes 24 hours to be approved. In the meantime, keep exploring and we’ll let you know when you can start sending messages.”

Important verification notes

• Only legally registered businesses can complete SMS verification

• All information must be accurate and consistent with official records

• The review process may take 2-3 business days.

• Additional documentation may be requested if needed

After approval

Once your business phone number is approved:

• SMS messaging becomes active

• Incoming texts appear in the Inbox

• An AI Chat agent can be assigned to respond to SMS conversations

• The number can also be used for call handling if configured

Your SMS channel is now ready to engage customers through Distance.
