# Urgent notifications

Urgent notifications alert specific team members immediately when high-priority tickets are flagged, ensuring critical issues are not missed.

### **Introductions**

**Urgent notifications** send real-time SMS alerts when a ticket is marked as urgent.

This ensures high-priority issues are surfaced immediately and handled by the right team members, without sending unnecessary alerts to everyone in the workspace.

### **How urgent notifications work**

Team members are selected to receive SMS alerts when urgent tickets are created or updated.

If a team member has a phone number configured, they can be added directly. If not, a number can be added during setup.

Once configured, only selected users will receive urgent SMS notifications.
