# Email sending tab
Configure the sender information, authentication settings, and branding used for marketing emails.
### **Introduction**
The **Email sending** tab allows you to configure how marketing emails are sent from your workspace. From here, you can set up the sender email address, authenticate your sending domain, and manage required email details such as your company address and email signature.
This helps improve email deliverability, maintain compliance requirements, and ensure outgoing campaigns reflect your business branding consistently.

### **Email sender**
The **Email sender** defines the email address used as the sender for campaign emails.
Using a subdomain is recommended instead of your root domain, as it helps protect the deliverability of your primary business email, including replies and transactional messages. A dedicated subdomain keeps campaign reputation separate.
Enter an email address that uses a dedicated sending subdomain, such as `hello@send.yourdomain.com` or `updates@notifications.yourdomain.com`, then click **Save**.
After saving, the sending email setup is generated automatically.

Once an email sender is added, DNS verification records are displayed to authenticate your domain and enable email delivery.
#### **Sending email**
The sending email section shows the configured sender address along with DNS records required for verification.
Example:
* - Not started
* - Connected
The status updates automatically once DNS records are correctly configured and propagated.
#### **Update your DNS records**
You must add the provided DNS records to your domain provider to complete setup.
The required records include:
* DKIM — TXT record at `resend._domainkey`
* SPF — MX record at `send` pointing to `feedback-smtp.us-east-1.amazonses.com`
* SPF — TXT record at `send` with value `v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all`
Each record includes a name, type, TTL, and value that must be copied exactly into your DNS provider.
These records:
* Verify domain ownership
* Authorize the email provider to send emails on your behalf
* Help prevent emails from being marked as spam
Once DNS is correctly configured and propagated (usually a few minutes up to 24 hours), the status will update to **Connected**.

### **Address**
Marketing emails must include a valid physical address or P.O. box in the email footer.
The address section includes:
* Address
* City
* Province / State
* Postal Code / Zip Code
* Country
These details are used for compliance and are included in outgoing marketing emails.

### **Signature**
The **Signature** section allows you to define the email signature that appears at the bottom of email campaigns.
You can enter and format the signature using the editor and click Save to apply changes.
