# Timezone
Set your business timezone to ensure accurate scheduling and automation timing.
### **Introduction**
The **Timezone** tab allows you to define your business’s primary timezone. This setting is used across Distance to ensure scheduling, automations, campaign delivery, and call transfer schedules run at the correct local time.
This ensures all time-based actions, including scheduled messages, automation triggers, campaign sends, and call transfer availability, are executed accurately according to your configured timezone.

### **Setting your timezone**
Select your preferred timezone from the **Business Timezone** dropdown.
Once selected, click **Update Timezone** to apply the changes.
Keeping your timezone accurate ensures messages, schedules, and automations are triggered at the correct time for your business operations.
